As far as drivetrain its engine and axles. The tranny and t-case are gone. But the guy would give you a really good deal on it. He really wants it to go to someone that can use it instead of just being scrapped.

I'm posting this up for a friend. He's got what I think to be a M211 that he's gonna have to eventually scrap if nobody wants it. Basically what is left is the banjo axles, frame, and engine. I think he may have even mentioned the engine being rebuilt. But feel free to ask me questions on here...

I'm not sure i get what you're saying here but from what i've seen on here the wheel cylinder kits are about 50 each new. I've not really priced them myself though. But my thinking is is you're gonna have to spend $100 per wheel just for wheel cylinders why not try to do disk breaks.

Since the drum brakes on the M211 banjo axles sound like they are going to be really expensive to rebuild, has anybody looked into a disk break conversion? Wouldn't it be pretty easy to do if you could find a rotor that would fit? I've just kinda started thinking about it since the wheel...

Yeah that sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing some pics of that. But so does anybody see a problem with flipping the front m211 axle to make it a drivers side drop and then using a regular transfer case?

So how did the transfer case bolt up to the turbo 400? Or is this a divorced transfer case?

Could i really do that? So would there not be any kind of oiling issues with the differential? Is there a drivers side drop np 205, cause that is what i would love to go with for a transfer case.

Well thanks for the replies. I guess i should explain what i wanna do. I've got some m211 axles that i want to put under my 78 Jeep Truck. From what i've heard i will have to flip the front differential if i want to use the axles with a traditional transfer case. I would really prefer not to do...

I was reading that the transmission in the M211 was a GM hydramatic so i was wondering if any knew how easy it would be to hook up the transfer case from a M211 to a 70s turbo 400 transmission. And any information on the M211 transfer case would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks Evan
