I'm just curious if anybody could identify the unit markings on my M1009. The only thing I can really find on it is the number "UO22" stenciled on the front and rear. Its black lettering on a white background on the lpassenger side of the tailgate and on the passenger side of the front bumper...

Drained / Refilled the rear diff. (8) new 60G glowplugs.....what a difference!

I just installed 60G's and they work GREAT! Truck starts like a charm with a cold engine. I don't know about "upgraded" plugs but these seem to work pretty well. The old plugs were 13G's and were still good. I figured I'd rather replace now than wait until I had a problem down the road.

The LO only specifies additive for the front differential on M1031 and M1028. Doesn't say anything about the M1009. I could be wrong though.
