Kent Moore which I think is now SPX part# J-2222-C I have one of these. They are a little pricey. I also found a AmPRO T72049 which I think Advance Auto has. Google these numbers and have a look.
All of my trucks are lifted and run larger tires. I do have the HI-Lift jack but most of the time I perfer to use the
HMMV. type sissors type jack. It has a large flat base plate for support. I also keep 4- way lug wrench's in all my
trucks.
I would keep the 6.2. I have a couple of Suburbans with the 454 . They are faster than my 08, use alot more gas and don't pull a loaded 20 ft. trailer like my 6.2. The swap is an easy one and it's really up to you
Take the 2 bolts out remove the plate and you should be able to remove the rod. Or you can try to free it up and slide it back in. Anit alot of room to work in. Good luck

reciever mount crane...

Never seen one, but you got me thinking. The HMMV. with the turbo 400 runs a brackett very similar to the 700 R4 in your picture. It also runs a detent cable.
Don't have the wiring schematic but if you have the 4L80E trans which I think you do the wiring for it is located under the pass side seat. It is 12 volt.
