    Rhode Island Show

Ditto. Everyone was very nice and the club even bought my son a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to him. Also thanks to Vintage Iron for letting my 9 yr old drive the M936 around. I am sure it is something he will never forget. DJ Redneck will return next year for sure. There was also a...

    M35a2 Bad vibration

U joints are all good. I checked those first at the show and we jacked up two wheels so I could spin the driveshafts to see if they were wobbling.

    M35a2 Bad vibration

I have a cupped front tire and thought maybe. A friend also suggested possible wheel bearing since I have a bad seal in the R/R axle but it feels exactly like a bad ring nd pinion except the shifter for the T case is vibrating like mad and no vibration from the Trans. I like your idea. I did...

    CUCV 454 Swap Problem

This/\ It's bee a number of years since I put a Big block in a sqaure body but I vaguely remember having to use a different fuel pump. You could even do a black off plate and go with electric although I am not a proponent of electric fuel pumps on gas motors with no safety shutoff.

Brake pads that break... not a spelling error :|

Cheap chinese made parts. As I type this my VW lost a lining off the pad just today and they are a month old. Very hard to find decent pats these days. Try another brand.

    M35a2 Bad vibration

Well my Deuce has a bad vibration. It starts around 28 mph and peaks about 35 mph and is much better 40-45. It feels like a bad bearing somewhere. I was thinking ring and pinion on one of the diffs but then driving it today I noticed something. When I feel the vibration, I don't feel it in the...

Mechanic recommendation - M1009: Injector Pump (North Texas area)

Do it yourself. It is a stupid easy job. I did a detailed write up on it at diesel place under same user name. It's a sticky. The TM's here can walk you through it too. I can swap an IP in about 2 hrs on a 6.2 NA. That is with plenty of practice. Think it took me 4 hrs the first time I did one...

    yet another engine issue

either your staving for fuel or your IP is toast. What I like to do(this is not easy but worth it) is eliminate the fuel system as much as possible and work backwards. I setup an outboard motor fuel tank years ago with a 12v fuel pump with alligator clips. I usually connected my temporary fuel...

    Electric Fuel Pump Install

The oil pressure sending unit on the 93 also doubled as a safety switch for the lift pump. It would not turn the lift pump until the oil pressure builds and turns it off in case of loss of oil pressure. If you wire your lift pump to keyed power direct and crash and your truck is burning your...

    Electric Fuel Pump Install

To the OP, good idea. Get rid of the mech pump. It was a bad design and GM later went to electric LP's in the GMT400. The mech pumps, they are OK but when the pump gets a little worn the electric pump helps prevent drain back also the fuel pressure is more stable with an electric pump BUT you...
