I have a couple of 4a032-4 engines I can bring if they don't sell before hand. Fresh (As fresh as the army gets) remans in the crates. Come with spin on oil filter adapters installed. Electronic ignition kits installed, new pull rope and fuel filter in the crates and a new manual in the crate...

You could put a rheostat in it (variable resistor), I wouldn't use anything less than a 100 watt rheostat though...and it might cause premature failure if used at a very low speed for a long period of time.
First off, the switch for the blower motor is supposed to be a three position switch...available at just about any hardware store. This switch will allow you to have Hi, Low and Off. To get the low speed you will need a 5 Ohm, 50 Watt resistor in line with the motor winding on the low speed...

That air line you have pictured comes out of your unloader/pilot valve. It may have stripped the threads in the valve body, from the amount of nipple left showing, I doubt that the nipple broke off in the valve. You'll need that hooked up. If your compressor has head unloaders, one of those...
