If you can't find help through an existing link, let me know and I'll help you anyway I can. I just finished hooking up a fuel fired heater in my M52A2. They work great.
I've used Walmart batteries in my trucks for years - they worked perfectly and saved lots of money. After rebuilding my M52A2, I decided to stay with 6TLs to keep from modifying the battery box/wires. Interstate Batteries sells the 6TL, which I got locally for about $180.00 plus core...
Yes, I made the bed custom to fit the truck. The top compartment on the rear houses a step ladder to walk up onto the bed. The bottom cover can be raised to use the pintle for towing.
Just completed first test drive of my M52A2 after major repairs; basically from the frame up. The project was started to repair the major rusted items like the fenders which were almost gone but quickly turned into going through the entire truck.
Since I sold my trailers, I decided to remove...
How did the defroster hoses attach up under the dash of the M52A2 so I can effectively defrost my windows in the winter? I had the cab off the truck last summer (totally stripped) repairing numerous rust holes but never thought to investigate this at the time. Now its assembled (purring like a...
I believe so, but no guarantee (I've had him bleed brakes on all of my vehicles over the years).
I cleaned and replaced all the original parts back in the master cylinder today (the rubber on the piston was good as was the spring other than be covered in rust) - it appears to be working now...
I'm hoping someone can help with my brake issues...aua.
I have a 1970 AMG M52A2 which I've spent the last 1.5 years repairing and setting up to be a daily driver. Prior to starting the project which is almost complete, the brakes worked perfect.
After getting the wiring harnesses replaced (I...
I took a somewhat different approach... Instead of using resistors or regulators I used relays. I'm currently rebuilding my M52A2 and have built a box that will operate 24v relays via a standard military connector. I purchased a Pulse Tech power distributor that provides balanced 12v to the...
I have an approximate 90% complete kit. I know it is missing a switch but the majority should be there. If your interested, I can pull out the kit and ensure the major items are there.
When I first got 915a1 it would take forever for it to get up to speed - same when pulling a load. I took it to the local Vo-Tec and let the diesel students work on it. In a day they called an said my aneroid valve had a hole in it. $30.00 later I had a new truck. It has all kinds of power...
Go to www.jatonkam35s.com/jatonkaM915seriesTMdownloadpage.htm and look at TM 9-2320-283-20-3. The complete wiring schematic and harness is in the back.
The bed has to be over 800lbs. I put one on its side last year with my 371 bobcat (will lift around 800lbs with someone standing on the back for counterweight). It put the bed on its side but would not lift it.
