I have tan fabric in stock DCIV, and will be making one soon. I plan to use up fabric on hand (green, tan) to sell to buy more fabric in bulk. Let me know when you're ready. Shipping to TN should be about $45.

I might could extend the sides enough to fit over the footmen. It’s not a bad idea. I’ve not seen a mil cover in person or might have tried to do that from the start. Biggest concern is how to secure that setup, as Ancra buckles are very expensive considering one needs 11 of them. I’ve not found...
While my Prime account is in processing so I can post to the classifieds, I’ll open this new thread to allow for new thoughts and conversation to go beyond my original thread for development of this concept...
Best check that fan circuit better then. It definitely should be coming on at temp. The Tech Manual will walk you through it. Could be a lot of things, either the sensors, control or the Cadillac valve itself. Mine stuck on, but careful disassembly and cleaning and it's been fine ever since...
Under those conditions I would expect the fan to come on yes. Are you saying it comes on otherwise or only didn't during snow? During short intervals and low demand (low throttle) it might be clutched in and you can't hear it. The clutch allows the fan to be driven at engine RPM, a direct...
When I was searching to replace my dead 6TL's I didn't see NAPA. I would have bought them, as I have a good relationship with them. Wish I had known.
On to other responses:
I use group 31 like many, I cram one in sideways, and one in longways and so they wedge each other into the compartment...
Congratulations on finding the problem. I think all of us at one point in time have gotten frustrated trying to start a vehicle, only to find out it was not in neutral or park. Good on you for keeping us updated even if it was a little embarrassing. In the end we are happy for you!

As someone who works in the energy field, my first reaction is that your house and garage need SERIOUS energy efficiency attention. I live an hour from you and my gas bill was $100 last month for a decent size 4 Br house. Admittedly, I do not heat my garage with gas. While adding insulation...
Saw this 2 man at a winery in the mountains of Santa Cruz today. Closest I can get to doing anything w a HMMWV since I’m across the country from mine.

I think I hit 67MPH once, but I drive 60-62 on highway. Right lane and left hand ready to flip on flashers. She ain't a speed queen fer sher.
But as many Jeepers say, "Sure yours can go faster, but mine can go ANYWHERE"

Another useful tip is to tell the auto parts desk you've got a xx year (your year) Chevy Suburban with a 6.2/6.5 diesel. Most internal parts and filters are identical. Do bear in mind that it's a 24V systems in the HMMWV so glow plugs and other electrical are not the same, but you can ask...
Took the boys to the playground and then used the last of the sunlight and warm weather to test fit my Mk1 soft slant back that is shipping out to Jeffy777 this week. Happy with the fit.

Get under there and yank on them and try to push the unions apart with your hands or small prybar. The nut and taper will not likely move, but if the taper shaft comes out of the socket to any noticeable degree you have a worn arm which needs replaced.
I can't find if you mentioned the year...
Grab the TMs if you haven't, and do the LUBE Order, regardless of what the previous owner told you. If you don't know what that leak is, one is tempted to conclude you haven't gotten intimate with the details of the HMMWV's peculiar drive train. It's peculiar, but straightforward, anyone can...
