This debate is absurd.
Alright, the debate is that in a rollover incident, you're better off being flung out of the vehicle than being crushed.
Ok.
What about the fact that in all other traffic accidents, you're better off?
And none of us know what percentage of MV accidents end in a...
So I have a Haldex N50011H, which I believe is original equipment for MRAP and perhaps M939 series trucks.
I'll be installing this on my '87 M35A2C.
After reading up on various threads (https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/air-dryer-for-an-m35a2.65682/), I have questions:

A note to everyone that I just learned the hard way:
In order to use this style of torque adapter, you have to remove the entire oil cooler in order to access the rear nut on the front head.
This is the rear nut on the rear head. No problem.
Rear nut, front head.

Also, sad that the deuce is no longer the king (hottest entity) of surplus. All you whipper snappers and your HMMWVs andFMTVs.
My first Deuce would have come from him had I been in the position (storage, $$$) to buy one. I surfed his site almost daily when the internet was new because there was so little deuce stuff out there.
We did this with a Ram 4500. Not a 3500. Felt very safe, went 50 miles in a rural area with low traffic density. It's a buddy's set up and I never looked at the weight rating of the trailer. I was just along for the ride.
I have a buddy with a first generation M1078 (I can't bring myself to call it an A0). The alternator caught on fire. I'm fixing it.
Truck came to me with a 100A 24-12V alternator 76761-N1506-1.
And this is what I bought, not realizing the small differences. I bought a...
My original EG22 that I installed in 2015 died at the rally last week. So I got about 4 years and 8 months. Not sure on mileage, but I don't drive the truck much.
Metal box had no moisture in it or evidence of having had moisture in it.
Alright, I need some suggestions on wiper upgrades.
I have the good aluminum air powered motors (which I like) and the standard civvy arm and blade upgrade everyone here has been running for years (Anco 41-01 arms and 31-13 blades). It works awesome except the chickenpoop plastic clips which...
Alright, another one in the can.
Where do you start?
We all appreciate everyone coming to the event and it's always our hope that people enjoy it.
We appreciate the fact that the event is family friendly and has the kind of atmosphere that first time attendees always mention when you ask...
Ok folks, last minute stuff:
I have a little bit of last minute loading to do in the morning, but you know how that goes, so I'd anticipate my arrival to be around 10am-ish and I'm bringing the rally trailer with me.
When I get there, I'll need some volunteers to help assemble the mess tents...
Ok, so an announcement and some pics.
A. Announcement
Received an email from Durhamtown this morning saying they will be unable to have a staff member at the rally field to sell armbands, so all attendees will need to hit the lodge to pay their armband (spectator, driver, passenger) and...
