Its a 2001 a1 so no cutoff relay. Replace the batteries and go from there.

Did you drain all the old fuel and put fresh fuel in? How do all the fuel lines look? Can you see any cracks? If so they need to be replaced.

What year truck? Newer A1 trucks have battery cutoff relays and some other components that the earlier trucks dont. Shouldnt be any draw with the truck off on any of the trucks. How old are your batteries? What type of batteries?

It was there at one time. They disentegrate.

As the lmtvs age like any other vehicle they can develop issues. Newer gen trucks have improvements on issues that the earlier trucks have/had. Is it a one time use sensor?

Maybe one of the hoses somewhere is sucking air and only does it when hot the hose material expands.

I have loaded the 802s to 6500w easily. If the gen hasn't been really loaded down in a while you have to step it a bit.

It would be easy to make switches just to run the engine in a first gen truck. One switch powering on the fuel solenoid and a momentary switch to crank at the aux start solenoid. If you wanted dash power you would need a 3rd switch to activate the dash power relay.

They both appear to come back to the same unit. The b model control panel can be used with 60 or 400 he sets there is a switch.
