Must hold "MODE" button to move

Strange that it's pulled like that. I looked at the pics. Fuel filter dated 2005 that truck wasn't used much. Clean truck. Could have had driveshaft pulled for towing. You should be able to press mode, the mode light stay on and drive off the rear axle only. No need to hold the button...

Must hold "MODE" button to move

No it's a standard wtec3 keypad. Do the pics show a removed driveshaft?

Must hold "MODE" button to move

If it was "trans needs to be in mode to move" I would say driveshaft. Its specifically "mode must be continuously held" and I have seen alot of the wtec3 keypads go bad.

    No Parking Brakes 1997 M1078

I have had a bad anti compounding valve affect brake operation but only treadle function appeared to be affected. Somehow air is inadvertently being fed into the spring brake release circuit for towing. Maybe there is a way to temp disconnect this air circuit.

    M1088 fuse block nightmare!

Disconnect the regulator wire and tape it off. Run a wire from the fuel solenoid positive (usually outside terminal) around the front of the motor to the front regulator lead. Leave a little slack for movement.

    Never seen that one before.

    M1088 fuse block nightmare!

Not for the regulator. The 24v regulation excite lead needs to be on the front terminal of the regulator. Nothing should be on the back terminal and the extra wire can be taped off.

    100A -> 200A/400A alternator replacements

The last time I saw the complete kits at auction they went for over 650 each plus tax fees and shipping. Military trucks is not a cheap hobby.

LMTV - Brake lights stopped working (Troubleshooing) Follow-Along

Wires between the dash panel and power panel run behind the heater box. It's not hard to do. What are you looking to run?

    No Parking Brakes 1997 M1078

Maybe you only have service brakes then. Take a few pics of the rear brake chambers and pads and post them.

    M1088 fuse block nightmare!

I have the terminals and plastic tabs for the block. On the alternator regulator are 2 terminals. One marked 24v and one marked AC. 24v terminal is excite & regulation. For 12v regulation it divides. AC terminal is an AC output to drive a tach or accessory. Don't connect anything to it.

    M1088 fuse block nightmare!

Make sure nothing is connected to the AC terminal on the regulator.

M1088 project, no start. Not even trying!

Maybe bad batteries or battery connections. Check power connections underside of panel. Bad or improper relay.
