Ok thanks. Yup Lejune is Thursday mornings only. Felix said he would meet at the gate to get someone right in. I will let you know I am trying to get a hauler to pick it up. Not having much luck. That whole 2 hours a week window make it hard.
The system does a pressure test to look for leaks and to determine tire pressure. If it senses high pressure it sends 12psi to hold open the wheel valves and dump. If the wheel valves dont have that continuous 12psi they will not stay open to dump. A bad hub seal will trick the pressure test but...
Mechanical system. Low pressure holds open wheel valves to dump. Fill pressure diluted via leak and the wheel valves see low pressure and are tricked into dumping. Very common.
Sounds like a bad hub seal or small air leak somewhere thats not enough to trip a fault but dilutes the fill pressure by the time it makes it to the wheel valves.
One connection looks like it goes to the top of the ac compressor and one the bottom line. Both lines look around the same size. Which is low and high?
Looks nice. I don't think the original headlight location is bad. The original bulbs are a bit dim. If you are going off roading at night all that extra light can't hurt. Take a pic at night with them on.
I set the front panel pot to its center position then adjust the regulator to the voltage I want. If it's not right to begin with. If it's ok from the start no need to touch it.
Well that answers why the regulator kits state you must use all components when changing the regulator. They should have put specifically why on the note.
I believe the unit was working fine before the military purged it for disposal. I think they just suck out the r22 since it's not environmentally friendly. If I had a local HVAC guy that was reasonably priced I would have him come out.
Is the top or bottom connection the low side. They are both the same size and not marked. The tm does not specify which is the low. Can I buy a bottle of nitrogen? How do I pressurize it into the system?
