Got released. Staying at a friend's place for a little bit. Hagerty, which is my insurance for the vehicle, has been amazing. I paid to keep my truck that's part of my insurance policy, and they're going to tow it from Vancouver to Tacoma. I was able to go to the tow yard and find my glasses...

Bought an M1009 a couple months ago... Just getting around to a couple maintenance items. I mentioned replacing the vacuum lines and fixing the 'transmission issue', heh. Did an oil change with full synthetic to help with cold starts. Cranks over quite a bit faster. Replaced the fuel filter...

    M1010 box on a M1008

That sounds awesome. DRW it if it isn't already...and it sounds like you'd have an awesome rig... Just be aware of the length and ground clearance re:high centering it if you go off road. the XLWB doesn't help in situations like that.

    Custom Security System

I was an installer/upfitter, building cop cars, fire trucks, ambulances, etc. and yes, even did a stint installing car alarms and stereos. When you had to tap VSS wires, run lines throughout the vehicle, make it idiot proof and **** near invisible, doing a stereo or an alarm is child's play. I...

    Custom Security System

APRS. APRS trackers can switch relays via an APRS message, like the OpenTracker2... Hook it to the fuel shutoff solenoid. You'll have location AND the ability to remotely shut it down.

Going to go look at an M1009 tomorrow. Owner thought he had a bad flexplate...so he took it to a transmission shop, they said they replaced it, now it doesn't run.... just grinds.. He doesn't wanna fight with the shop and apparently he doesn't wanna deal with the truck either. It's cheap...

Picked up an M1009. Been driving it and noticed shift points were off.... 35 and 50, super harsh. I know what that means.... So I pulled the air cleaner housing off and inspected the vacuum lines... They crumbled in my hand. Went to O'Reilly, spent 6$ on new vacuum tubing, and now...
