Do you have a copy of TM 10-7310-281-13&P? It covers operation and maintenance levels 1, 2, and 3, plus parts. 90 percent of the problems can be fixed using that manual, some mechanical ability, and the spare parts.

For us civilians, if it's NOT Distribution "A", it's a No-NO, which is pretty simple. Only confusion is in manuals printed before about the mid 60's, which do not have any such statements, unless they were reprinted later and had it added to the front cover sheet.

Yes, thanks for asking, and I have extra adapters (hardware). Problem with the adapter and vacuum is that all the tanks will try to reach the same level and they are NOT. I would much rather run the electric pump from the 600 to the 55 and keep it full when I do my daily checks and services on...
Tap out of the top with a 120 V electric pump with the switch in the storage room, run a pipe/hose through the wall and over to the 55 gallon drum. Top off the aux tank every 48 hours of use or so , based on the fuel consumption.
There will be full walls and a roof on it when finished. It will be 'open' on the end opposite the stud wall in the picture and I will also have a small trailer stored in there.
Finally got the 600 gallon fuel pod home and put into place. Need to finish up the shed to get it out of the weather but that may not happen till spring.
