You will want to drive slow and cautiously in the snow. ABS or not its a big heavy truck. Dropping tire pressure will help in the snow. Not much helps on ice unless you have studs or chains.
You might try cleaning it with clay bar and then possibly polishing it. I have seen them scuffed from lousy wiper blades. On a nice warm day you can push the old one out. You will want to reuse the seal so be careful. The new one will push in and you can use a string to go around and work it all...
24v positive is towards the back, 12v lead goes left to right between the 2 battery rows and the lead at the outer end of the batt box is the negative.
The keyed ign is nice you can park and drain the air and the average meddling hands cant start the truck and build air. If someone knows the truck thats a different story.
Paved road use will eat up tires fast. The Goodyears seem to last a bit longer. I have found Michelins dont age as well as the Goodyears. The Michelins are known to be a bit more aggressive offroad. I dont do much offroading here in CT I would end up stuck between 2 trees.

I have one here in CT that runs and drives well. The bed is a bit high for quads you would need a long ramp it sits at around 5 feet. I drive around with my kids they love the trucks. LMTVs have bucket style seats with lap and shoulder belt.
The factory signal should be set to work with a factory tach. You would have to calibrate a universal tach yourself. They usually come with instructions. I have some Datcon universal tachs just havent gotten around to trying one yet.
