Didnt see anything out of the ordinary, caps not bulged, mov's looked good, all zip ties in good condition.
When I say faulty, it only puts out 24.9v, that would take along time to recharge a battery.
I am working on an 831 that has a faulty battery charging regulator, has anyone used a NOCO g 7200 in place of a bad battery charging regulator?
Do you have to push the button everytime to select 24v when 120v is applied? All of the video's show that you have to push the button to select...
I used a Gates 26391 hose adapter and a piece of 1 3/4 hose, gates 24028 to rebuild a donkey dingy, it took a couple different cuts to get the length of hose right
I am pretty sure you are beating a dead horse on trying to save the batteries, BUT it is always worth a shot.
Slowly discharge with a low amp draw like an old incandescent headlight or marker light, then when you start to recharge, use another good lead acid battery as a buffer between the...
yeah, i ordered mine then like 2 weeks later I get an amazon popup that says, 'you might be interested in this' and it was the same one that I ordered.
I think they watch alabibi to what we order, then list that stuff on amazon
I ordered 3 of these from alabibi last month, they should be here this week, hope hope.
have 1ea for all 3 legs of a load tester, if I like them, then i will get 6 more, 3ea for 2 genny's
I wanted as much info as i could for each leg to help diagnose any unforseen problems...
Its on the boat, make sure and post up the photos once you get the jenny and trailer and truck all married up.
Its a really good feeling when you get all your wheels in a row, and they are powered.
But like everything, there comes a time to change. The truck is probably on the slow boat to...
mep 805b mpu diameter .75"
03 KW 18speed tranny mpu diameter .75"
Plugs looked exactly the same as well, the KW mpu appeared shorter, but it does have a very beefy bracket that it mounts in.
VAC= volts AC
my guess is the mpu was on its way out and the good mech skrewed it in to get the volts needed, and was too close and rubbed just a bit
if the parts house looks at you funny, tell them an 03 kw eaton fuller 18918b,i am pretty sure thats the right size, Kw, not peterbilt, petes...
if it ends up that mpu is bad... its not an endall, those are an easier part to find. A big truck parts house will have them, they are used as speed sensors on the tranny. Just get the right diameter and thread pitch. There is nothing special about the mpu, it is a magnet that says, yes no yes...
Screw magnetic pickup (4, Figure 4-30) into flywheel housing until pickup bottoms out on flywheel. Back magnetic pickup out 1 1/2 turns. Tighten locknut (5).
Adjust magnetic pickup (4), 4.13.3.d.
Set multimeter for VAC, and connect multimeter positive lead to terminal B of P13 and negative...
That should be the first step of any jenny trouble shooting..... coolant low? check the magnetic pickup... rod sticking thru block? check magnetic pickup
Not knowing what the use of the genny will be, my question would be, are you sure you want 240v?
that is, 240v per leg, 416v across 2 legs, not 120v per leg, 208v across 2 legs
Well i learned something new today. the SCU is the same for the 400 and 50/60 hz motor, I guess that makes sense, its only controlling the motor, has nothing to do with the generation side
Guy did a very detailed write up about how to use the parts manual (TM) and how to use the UOC (user on code?) I cannot find it but everyone needs to learn how to use that part of the manual.
ok this is the crash course of UOC's, in the front of the manual it says LTX is 50/60hz and LTY is...
