You may need a new gasket for the oil filter and the sending unit is on the right side at the back, low above the starter.

If the flat tire is on the front I would move it to the rear for the drive home.
The tires get driven on when they are flat and my of sit flat for a long time, just need to be on the safe
side with the tires on the front.

Seal at top of door, it goes in before the window then you have to push like (*(*(^^% to get the window in. But it will go.
When you roll the window up the seal will move right.
Sounds like a air leak to me. Try to pressurize the fuel tank to about 4-5psi.
If you have the vent that runs up the intake on the drivers side of the cab that is a good place to
tap in to do it.
My M923A1 had a problem when I got it of surging idle and it turned out to be an air leak in the fuel tank pickup tube.
I have seen other guys with the same problem and it has been an air leak in a fuel line or the fuel filter.

Here in the south most of us just go back with two batteries.
Up were you are in the winter you may need four.
I use group 27's and group 31's. I get them from Sam's.
Some of the A2's have the big fuel filter under the left finder and some do not.
I think there was a MWO to put the bigger filter back on the A2's. had a lot of
trouble with the little inline filter over in sand land.
