    You may need a new gasket for the oil filter and the sending unit is on the right side at the back, low above the starter. Looking at the TM's is a great way to learn about your truck. They are free to down load here on SS.

    What is required to bypass M923a2 CTIS

    If the flat tire is on the front I would move it to the rear for the drive home. The tires get driven on when they are flat and my of sit flat for a long time, just need to be on the safe side with the tires on the front. Have a fun and safe trip home!!!!

    Door reassembly

    Seal at top of door, it goes in before the window then you have to push like (*(*(^^% to get the window in. But it will go. When you roll the window up the seal will move right.

    You can just use your std GO 80/90w. No yellow metal worry about. Look in the LUBRICATION ORDER LO 9-2320-272-12

    I think there is something wrong with my 923A1 fuel pump....

    Sounds like a air leak to me. Try to pressurize the fuel tank to about 4-5psi. If you have the vent that runs up the intake on the drivers side of the cab that is a good place to tap in to do it.

    My M923A1 had a problem when I got it of surging idle and it turned out to be an air leak in the fuel tank pickup tube. I have seen other guys with the same problem and it has been an air leak in a fuel line or the fuel filter. Here is the link...

    Recovered my M927 truck; batteries dead

    Nice looking!!! Here in the south most of us just go back with two batteries. Up were you are in the winter you may need four. I use group 27's and group 31's. I get them from Sam's.
