How easy is it to roll a deuce? Best tires without conversion kit for more speed/trac

The military sometimes uses road tires on Deuces, it could be considered "motor pool correct" even to a stickler... I have a photo of them on a Deuce somewhere on my hard drive but I cant find it at the moment. Here they are on a large tractor...

How easy is it to roll a deuce? Best tires without conversion kit for more speed/trac

By "roll" do you mean turn it over? Fail to keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down? I would think it would be pretty hard on flat ground, on an incline however anything can happen. Michelin XL's are bigger more modern tires that reportedly get excellent traction in mud and snow and...

M109 brackets, what are they for???

There are notches down low to hook your ladder to so you can service the windows. The "mystery brackets" are on the sides up high. I will try to photograph mine tomorrow and post some photos. Not quite $150 but I got my M109A3 for $640 (before GL's cut). We drove it home and I have not done ANYTHING to it except install batteries, it was not residue and did not require major work!

    Say goodbye to ol' yeller

"It's a special treat for us to be able to fire up a specific piece of equipment for an old timer and let them hear the roar and smell the exhaust and gear lube and watch them remember their history." That brought a tear to my eye...

You paid what for a deuce

Don't forget: it takes two to Tango. If there was only one person bidding it would go for $150, it takes at least TWO bidders to drive the price up, so (presumably) there were at least two people who thought the item in question was "worth" what they bid. One knucklehead can't do anything by...
