Machine gun bipod. There is a fixture that mounts to the back of that door the bipod hangs on when not in use. I'll get a picture of it tomorrow morning of the one on the museum's M3A1 halftrack.
Today out at the museum we had a M4A1E8 Sherman that needed the turret re-installed on it as it had been removed for restoration needs. Had to call in some SS assistance involving Scott's (tie6044) M816 wrecker. We only had 1 wrecker available and deemed it too dangerous to try the lift solo...
Fort Snelling Military Museum. Some of the artifacts are going to other museums but about 90% of it is scheduled to go to DRMO. Anyone wanting to see about getting any of the unspoken for pieces need to contact the Center of Military History as they own all of the pieces.
Do yourself a favor and run straight diesel during the cold months. That will help you the most. Does your truck have either assist or a manifold heater?
Most deuces have only 3 holding the MC in for just the very reason of it being a bitch to reach. Not right per the book but it does work. Have not heard of any breaking off due to only 3 bolts either.

FYI for what its worth the new CPR guidelines use the following set:
Circulation - 30 chest compressions
Airway - head tilt to open airway
Breaths - 2 breaths then repeat
Think CAB for the procedure.
Basically they have found that you have enough oxygen in the blood to go straight to chest...
