RE: Re: RE: Converted van trailer to flatbed ?
Thanks for posting the pictures, I have thought about it many times since seeing it in person a month or so ago.Still haven't gotten to work on the heaters yet.george
I have three of these trailers. The driver I assume didn't know the landing legs fold up, they will clear his mud flaps then. I would try Trailer Transit, Inc. They have picked up all three of mine. My .02.
I had State Farm about three years ago, but felt it was too much for the amount of my use. I have done quite a bit on the truck last year and looking to put on the road again. Hopefully, I hear something hear that is encouraging.
Having been a local city councilman for 4 years followed by 8 years (1997-2005) as a mayor of St. Robert, MO outside Fort Leonard Wood I can say you probably are places that you can access your officials. With the Veterans Day parades coming, get your vehicle in the parade, then while everyone...
I have done several lately. Did all of them without removing the shoes, just stuck screwdriver in each side to hold shoes apart, it is a piece of cake. Maybe hour and half at most per wheel with hand tools.
I currently have a 530 something, Jason I think you saw it when you were here. I also have some pictures of some that were for sale on GSA over the last couple of years. I have never figured out posting pictures yet or I would share.
RE: air
Jason, I have been thinking about it. Since school is back in session, I get kind of locked in. I have really been thinking how to do it. I know it will be worth the time.
Papercu, thanks looks like something to do with the air governor from the diagram, which is also what Ace said...
Need some help. Noticed today my air buzzer didn't go off on my M52A2. I didn't get any air to the brakes, so I shut things down. Got under the truck to drain the air tanks, a little water came out, no air though. Started it up to try again, nothing. Then undid the line on compressor and...
I got rid of some (need to update my list) and then I wanted this and that. My garage is full of parts again. Thought this trailer would be a solution to storage. Didn't you know someone for hauling? I still got a half of a tow bar if you want it.
Need to find someone with semi-tractor to pull M750. Checking with Ray Patton and Trailer transit. Anyone else interested or know someone to contact???
In Utah I saw several rear sections of 2 1/2 tons that had been very professionally turned into trailers. Didn't have my camera wish I would have now. There were several different types.
Yes you can, BUT, it really tilts forward. I had one pulled from Texas and the driver had to run temp lights because he couldn't use trailer lights. Although I have seen on ebay adapters that switch civilian to military. The driver also told me to tell them next time to ask for a high mounted...
I just got in from Utah, 1300 miles, about 3 hours ago. I would suggest you put a pencil to fuel prices versus the rental truck. Some states had gas higher than Diesel, I paid for gas (highest 3.59 and lowest was 2.99). Low fuel mileage and $3 a gallon average times 2,000 miles? Just my thought.....
RE: Re: Boyce Equipment
Went by Boyce's today. Mark is really nice and has a great business. He has started sorting and boxing stuff into crates for the move. Well organized yard. Really appreciated him allowing me to walk around and look. Even found some stuff to buy.hehe! Took a couple of...
RE: Re: RE: My 292A2 expandable van pics and questions
I only have one heating unit left in mine. I will check to see if anything on it. When I bought it the heater was already laying on the floor and a working 220 A/C unit civilian type window unit was hooked up in it.My goal is to get both...
I have two M313s and the leveling jacks on them are in a compartment under the back doors, above the bumbers.Hard to see would think they would be there, as this looks the same as my M313s.
