You might have a boost leak. Otherwise, the turbo can be frozen. It will run with it like that, and because it only produces so little additional power, it may or may not be noticeable right away.
I guess I should ask, can you hear the turbo?
If you take off the intake side of it, does it...
If your bars are too soft, simply add more lye and be sure to use one of those $9.99 drink blenders that go into the glass for mixing... it works wonders!
Likewise, if your bars are too hard and flaky, you used too much lye...
I used to render beef-soap, and it was smelly, but fun!
Nah he was saying white diesel smelling exhaust
That could be a number of things. It could be as simple as a cylinder not firing, or a stuck injector flowing WAY too much...
I think we talked about this before, but I'll repost, since I hate the search flamers!
The filter flows 13-1400 cfm. The engine only needed like (I can't remember exactly, I did the math 'tho) something like 300-800 cfm at full bore depending on the boost. I guess that would mean that you...
dang CT, you've got EVERY toy on your rig.
About the 5.9 cummins (non-dodge) exhaust brake, I can get entire kits of those. I'm not sure how they link up on the exhaust, I'll have to look at it again. I BELIEVE and don't quote me on this, but I saw the module for the "sorta-jake brake" on the...
Nope, I'm American. I went to college in Wolverhampton, that's all.
Yep, I've got all those videos. Did you see the end to that hilux destruction "attempt" when they tried to put it at the top of an apartment building and then blew up the building? They dug it out and it drove off, only a...
I see that hilux in your sig.. ever watch top gear? I used to every sunday when I was going to school at Wolverhampton... Now I've got them all on dvd! (Except for the old 1989 original series)
Anyhow, that hardened deuce gave me great memories of Marine Corps School of Infantry, where we...
porting... nah. maybe doing a bit of flow honing on the heads and them maybe it would make a difference, but honestly, for the 2%ish expected increase from the reduced turbulence imo isn't worth the time and cost. That's just me. I'm a bit odd.
I'll isolate that comment for assisted reading comprehension.
Who's slandering? I didn't see that. Relax man, and go on with life. It's cool to have a parts guy on the forum, but you need to just be a regular guy on here, not the tough guy.
Ok, I'm not going to keep poking a stick into this, I promise. HOWEVER, this is really in the wrong forum, and needs to be moved.
Likewise Bernie, it would be prudent to not post anymore. This is not the place. This is a hobby enthusiast’s website designed so we can have a place where we can...
If it will save you money, you don't need a "bigger" filter unless you're constantly in the dirt for hundreds of hours without pm'ing the filter. The filter can flow like 1200 cfm or something, and the engine only needed a fraction of that even at full boost and throttle.
Wallew has a K&N and...
