Turning up the power on a Deuce

Dang DA... I could hardly read that post... LOL, nothing but code! Anyhow, best way to "turn it up" is to pop more fuel into like like the chaps say. Only thing I'd add to this information is to buy a pyrometer, and place it within 2" of the turbo. It's very important to tap it in AFTER the...

    Deuce Parts - EBAY SCAM

I'm glad you decided to post up. That says that you are probably an honest seller trying to protect yourself, but there are still some outstanding issues. I'm sure some on here enjoy your brief (and I use that term loosely) partially decodable diatribe on ebay and a particular buyer and your...

    Pix of my Super Singles

What are the mods? That looks cool too. (And, yes I know I said "looks" because sometimes that is just as good as function) Anyhow, now that I think of it, are there any issues with having off-track tires? With singles on, don't the rears have a smaller track width than the steers?

It will be healed. Otherwise go see your PCP and get some antibiotics. You'll need to take them about 3 days prior to the trip in order to be "healed" enough to go, but always follow up with the rest of the 10 day course. Be sure to watch for being dizzy (more than you normally are), hearing...

    engine shut off

If you have a welding setup around you could always fire nitrogen into the intake- that extinguishes flame instantly. That might help during testing phases to keep from having to "snuff" the motor with a piece of MDF or a 2x4...??? Dunno... Most of all, Crane is the deuce pimp around here, he...

    Motor Swapping

Hmm Next question is what tranny? You'd likely need a low Final gear like .70 or something.

    Motor Swapping

Yeah - MOPAR... ugh. We just got rid of our Venom SRT-10 and my SRT-4 (492 hp) Rally and auto-X car is on the way out for a S-Type R pretty soon. I know all about the miserable feeling when you need to go to the dealer for a part. Direct from cummins is a much better idea.

    Motor Swapping

Clinto, BFR, Let's see if anyone else posts up with ideas. I'm curious to see why the 5.9 will die. It seems to be a solid enough motor. I know Trango did a cat 3208 with a AR turbo, but I'm looking for something "skinnier" like an inline diesel - that's why I was asking about the cummins.

...not a fan of the powerchokes or GM diesels... Too many moving parts.

    biggest tire for a deuce?

I believe I saw a 14.5R20 running somewhere without mods.

    Motor Swapping

Hey guys, I was at work last night looking at different things, and I'm wondering why anyone hasn't tried to swap in a cummins L10 to the stock tranny or maybe an older Cummins 5.9 with the dodge tranny? I'm not sure if the L10 would fit under the bonnet, but the 5.9 actually might, and it...

Feeler: Turbo kit for the Diesels

Guys, I'll consider farming it out as soon as I can get in touch with the local shop. One of the guys that works there is a good friend of mine - that's why I used them. This flange just isn't a simple plate like most. In order to drop from TV size to T4 you need an 8 cm2 cast reducer and two...

Feeler: Turbo kit for the Diesels

Update: I think I got ripped off by the shop that is supposed to do our new flanges. I paid ahead of time for them and I can't get a response to my email, calls, or anything else. I don't have time right now to go in there and talk to them about it. I'll have to fabricate and machine them...
