painting my 52 xm211 camo or od

i'm thinking, in my perspective, that green is the best for that truck, but, i like to keep mine "period" styled and painted, however, if you paint it snow camo, i'd like to see a picture, and it might be a bit tough priming from green to white on that big of a truck, but good luck, i think it...

    Priming for Gillespie

let me add to that a little bit too - If you're not on a good prepared surface, use red ox. If you're coming from a bare metal and want premium results, use the epoxy.

    Priming for Gillespie

I use red oxide on bare cheap metal projects. If you've got some "pings" in the paint from media blasting, or you want a LIFETIME paint job, use the epoxy. I used it on my friend's 997 Porsche and his Cobra Roadster and HOLY COW there is a huge difference. Red Ox needs to have more coats put...

    MY NEW 7K M1028 & 2 Problems..

I'm thinking it is absolutely one of three things: Bad alternator Bad regulator Strange wires (but not likely, since it has low miles) I'd start at the regs and go back through the wires each way from the alternator to the battery. There's got to be a problem with one of the Alternators...

a horrible way for an M211 to live its days out

Ugh - I have a similar issue with someone who has an old M135 dump side and another guy over by the mall who has a M37 and a M35 dumper... I feel like I should adopt them.

    5 ton Turbo

Ok, I guess we're all reading too far into the question. First, find out WHERE the leak is at and how bad. Then we can answer the rest of the questions.

Do you need a working in tank FUEL pump??

I can play "contact point" with my business; if they honestly need a company to sell to and not a B2C type deal.

    5 ton Turbo

If it is leaking from the "outside" of the turbo - that's the cheapo gasket for the oil lines. Get a killer deal, and go home and fix it with a smile.

    Scared myself today

Interesting help tip of the day - (From my military days) Since a lot of those grounding bolts like to come loose , put some thick CA glue on the threads, clean the hole, Clean the surrounding metal and tighten that turd in there. After that, some guys would put metallic epoxy over the bolt...

    Deuce Parts - EBAY SCAM

I've had great luck lately with people trying to scam me for performance parts. I'm happy to report that the local law enforcement in all three cases, CANADA (OMG, I KNOW), Colorado, and New York, have all filed charges, and two of them I already got my money back and watched them squirm in...

Feeler: Turbo kit for the Diesels

That sounds cool. I'm still working avidly on finishing the new flange for the kit (that's what has taken so long), and then I can start sending them out. After a discussion I had with the other guys last night, I'm going to let you guys tell me wha tyou want in the kit, so it can be more...
