    Rick, I use 60g s in the trucks with resistor bypassed only problem that has happened if temp sensor on drivers head fails they will cascade like any other plug. With coupon code at advance they are about 6.50 each. I have sets of 11g and 13g on shelf that were so cheap i couldnt pass up.

    Rick, You can toss the spacers and redrill for the 1/2 bolts. If you put the spacers between the cross member and frame it will change the driveline angle so u joints dont bind. Alot of 4x4 lift companys make blocks to do the same thing.

    WELCOME, That is how I started with my son 5 yrs ago and many shows and swap meets under our belts. Good clean fun and good people and a sickness!     Starter to bracket mounting question

    The through bolts are just 1/4 - 20 and if I get a starter without a stud for the bracket I remove. thread rod in leave a 1 1/4 sticking out, put on lock washer and nut , then bracket , lock washer and nut. works fine!

    Yes I have done it with a 4 inch grinder. its easy. You need to do it on the 1008/1028 if you lift them 6 or more inches.

    CUCVRUS, Rick change the drivers side. Its 9 bucks su109 that's the one that stopped flicker. When bad it also can leave GPs on and they burn out. I was looking at my log book and it still flickered with the passenger side changed napa #ts7265 39 bucks or gm #10154649 .
