I was looking for a 818 & saw adds stating a sf97 will be applied in the new buyers name. Is that something simple like changing the name on the sf97 form on the GL requst form? Or is there more to it?
I have more than several, in Ky, if you really want one so I wouldn't panic. The real problem I see for you, or me if I want another, is that the trucks have all moved to Alabama for the sales. I haven't seen a truck for sale in Ohio, Indiana, or Ky lately.
I see cundupa you live in Holland. I was there last year for the Tulip Festival. I went kicking, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. Sandy beaches, neat shops, the wind mill, old stores. Even the local scrap yard was decorated & painted up nicely. That's a neat place.
That's a tough major. I studied Mechanical Engineering for 2.5 years & then switched to Business at UK. Thermodynamics cooked me! It took me 5 1/2 years to graduate, but I did it. Great school, and a great time in one's life.
Did you catch the 813 being sold as a M35a2? I picked up a M52a2 there & saw it. It looked rough, but according to the Sgt at the lot it ran good, but had sat at the lot for 4 years. He also said the 818 had major problems.
Don't get too excited. In the big picture, this will screw up the resale price. Sure, they will be cheap as dirt (maybe cheaper, I bought dirt last year & it was pretty high) in your area and stay that way. Most won't ship one for a $1.50 a mile . The best thing for this hobby is an even...
Yes, scrap is down really bad. I saved a pile of copper thinking it was going to keep going up. The good news is that people won't keep scraping vehicles for little money.
First make sure your radiator cap is good, and tight. You can pressure test it, any place automotive repair shop will have the pump. If it's not in your engine, this will show you what to fix.
