I have a few pics from the show: www.pbase.com/baywing/comvec2012
I didn't have the usual camera gear, just a small point and shoot and spent more time around my truck talking than roaming taking photos. Something new for me, to be sure!
It was one of the better shows with lots of "new" vehicles and lots of visitors. Always good to see old friends and I had a chance to meet some SS members. Some came down from NH, Steve came up from NJ, David Welch (former MVPA Pres) brought his GPA up from NJ, old friends of mine made a...
The nose gear did not drop. They circled for about an hour while the crew lowered the nose wheel manually and they then attempted to land. When the nose wheel hit, the gear collapsed causing damage to the skin. It's being prepped for a ferry flight back to TX for repairs as soon as they can...
I think I got mine from John at Midwest, kinda looked like fan belt, squarish cross section. I had someone tell me to fill the groove with black weatherstrip cement and when it was almost completely set, close the vent to form to shape.
I used the method as the 2nd poster.
I don't have a problem with it as long as it's done out in the open. There are several other vendors that post here and it's usually helpful. I have posted info directing people to those places that may have the parts they desire.
Leave the line in the sig, if Chris has a problem, then it's...

I am trying to get my M37 GT ready and hope to have it there this year.
Shameless bump, it's just 4 weeks away!
The "new" bed looks sweet. I understand that running boards are hard to find, they seem to be the first thing to get bent, dented and destroyed. I was told to take good care of mine. Bob Stahl may have some take-offs, not sure what condition they would be in. Try posting this as a want over...
It is very easy. I took out my grill, then took off the fan belt, then the fan. Take off the upper and lower hoses. Next, take out the 4 bolts that hold on the front upper radiator cover, just under the hood in front of the top of the radiator. Remove the 6 bolts (3 down each side) from the...
I went today and if you are not planning on going you should change your plans. GO! You won't be sorry. Thanks to Randy, Scott and all the other hard working MTA folks it was a great day. Randy worked some magic with the weather gods and the day was rain free. Guess the thought of getting...
