I'm posting this on this forum but really it would be good for all MV tops.
I got a top for the back of my 5 ton for next to nothing. Well ok I was picking up some other parts and the guy thru it in for free. If it's for free it for me!!!
The canvas had a few mouse holes in it. Like 7-8 holes...
That's might be an option. I wonder if anyone has looked at the 14L and the 8.3L side by side and looked at what it would take to do this.
I think the route I more likely gonna take is to keep my stock 24v system unaltered and add a 2nd altinator like a GM (ac Delco) with an internal voltage...
I was just thinking about making a bracket to run a 2nd altinator on my m-813. This was I can run a completely separate 12v system with its own battery under the hood and its own fuse panel.
it should be really simple. Just didn't know if anyone has done this before and had any insight on...
I'll be doing a hub flip on an m-818 in the next few weeks. This has peeked my curiosity. I don't know fit right. I will look at it closer when I get the tractor apart.
Hub flips are a fun prodject. So easy a 11 year old can do it. Hahaand yes the bearing and race swap location in the hub so that they keep there original location on the spinal on both 5 ton and deuce. They will not physical fit in the wrong race.
Sorry for calling it a fuel button. I got this terminology from this video that is a great brake down of the whole injection pump.

This could be a pretty cool display if we could get 6-or more trucks involved. So looks like the most logical thing to do is to establish a route. So we have Hampton-Dover-Barrington with a 900-5 ton, a2 deuce, 800-5 ton
