I had a funnel in a large jug with the oil draining into the funnel. when I went to put oil back in the motor I asked my 11-year-old son to hand me the funnel and he asked me what do I do with this part

I don't mind spending the money on good fluid if it will help smooth the shifting a little.
I understand if the transmission is on its way out no fluid is gonna bring it back but if I can lube it up I can get it to shift a bit easier then it will prevent any more damage

One of the most useful things I have seen for mounting a vice for use on a vehicle is to mount it to a plate welded to a piece of 2" square stock. Slides into a receiver hitch. This make one vise for multiple trucks. And you can weld a 2" hitch into the front bumper or anywhere else you need.
