I checked the little remember me button by the login stuff a long while back. As a result I have not had to sign in in a loooooong time. Now, not only do I have to after turning my computer off, now it is doing it doing the day while the computer is on. I think it a is a problem with my computer...
These came off my M101, I was planning on getting rid of them. Before I do, will they work on anything else? Is there a way to make them work with an electric brake system?
This looks a lot to me like a skid plate I saw some time back on a transfer case under a CUCV. If it is, does that mean they were available on the civilian counter parts from GM? Also, what transfer case is under CUCVs? Are they 203s? If so this skid plat will do me no good.
I found this in a deuce I had a few years ago. It was lying lose under the passenger seat. I tried to test fit it several places in the cab including over the slave cables. But it did not fit anything I could find. I ended up just sticking it on a shelf and forgetting about it. Any idea what it...
I was not sure which section this topic belonged in. So if the deuce section is wrong Please feel free to move it.
I have a M105 and I am considering buying another one. I am thinking about pulling both of them at the same time with my deuce. Obviously that would require I install a hitch on...
It looks as though I am going to have to remove the rear drive axles of my deuce for some repairs. I want to pull them with the suspension as one unit. It looks fairly straight forward but I would still like some input. Are there any tips and tricks I should know? How can I make it as easy as...
Now that I have a winch and what I think are all the brackets I need to install it I plan to move forward with rebuilding it and getting it on my truck. However, I have noticed that just about all the winch trucks I have seen have chewed up front bumpers. I get why, that winch can cause a lot of...
I am kicking around the idea of installing a second fuel tank where my spare tire is. If I do I am just going to mirror the passenger side tank with all the same parts. I am just wandering if there are any hiccups I should be aware of or if this would be more complicated than I am thinking it...
I was going to remove this part so I can clean up and paint the area behind it. I am questioning the need to re-install it though. Nothing was bolted to it and other than sliding under the lip on the dash I do not see anything it supports. What is it for and what if anything will I hurt if I do...
I am now addressing a very nasty fuel system on the deuce I am trying to get running. The tank was full of bad fuel when I got it. I have drained the fuel out but the inside of the tank is nasty with slimy build up. I am assuming the rest of the fuel system is just as bad. I have several...
Pictured below is a part that came off the top of my compressor. I have had it apart fro so long I do not remember how it goes back together. The compressor itself has been reassembled for quite a while. I held off on this part because it got mixed up with something else. I am not even sure what...
When I got this truck there were no belts on the accessory drives. Can some one tell me how they are routed and if there are part numbers I can take to a local parts store to cross refference?
While trying to get some repairs doen to my non running deuce, I notcied every one of the valve cover bolts were lose. Is that common, or is there a reason for it. I thought maybe they just have a real light torque spec.
Also, it looks like the seals for the valve covers is a sealant and not a...
I am making a serious effort to get the deuce up and running again. But it was missing a lot of parts when I got it and they hacked some stuff when the stole my parts. So now I am trying to put it all back together. I think I have everything I was missing but I need some help in figuring out how...
A buddy of mine and I have been debating on whether or not I should scrap my mechanical air pump in favor of an electric one on my deuce. I see both pros and cons for this mod and I was wondering if anyone else here has done it. If so how do you like it? What are some of the benefits you have...
I have this old military trailer I am making new again. One of the things I want to do is get rid of the fender well inside the cargo area. I want the sides smooth for more cargo space. I borrowed a dually rim just to move the trailer until I can get my own and I liked the huge cap it crated. As...
I got a hold of what appears to be a good used air pump a while back. I was going to go ahead and install it but it needs some help. Inside it looks great so I am not all that concerned with a total tear down. But outside it is a bit weathered and was leaking. So I want to clean it up and...
I have a 5.9 12 valve Cummins in a Dodge that was converted to a military aircraft tug. Everything from the cab up is a standard non military based truck. When I got the truck it ran but had old fuel in it. That caused the truck to shut down and not restart two years ago. Well, I have cleaned...
I acquired all of this rubber skirting from some friends who wanted it out of the way. I originally was going to use it for the stalls at the barn. However, I hate seeing good parts go to waste. So I am offering these parts to whoever has a track they are resorting or building. Because this...
