I hate to pimp harbor junk....but they are sure handy to have around:

Definitely worth it....did you do the 4L80e swap as well?
I have owned and driven both-and that is why I kept my 6.5 TD-I could never go back to the 6.2 3 speed
Oh yeah-pics!
A3 will go from 6-8 possibly close to 10k
A2 will go for 1000-3000
You can tell if the A3 has CTIS by looking at the wheels...this system is VERY problematic-simple sure it to cap them off with schrader valves.
A3 has considerable creature comforts but as far as reliability-A2 is much more...
To catch the bead on larger tires-I cut two by fours and get the beads to max possible width-leave them in the sun and then use a "tire cheetah". You can easily make a cheetah know off with a 5 gallon or larger tank and 1.5" or larger ball valve.
Cheetah CH-5 Tire Bead Seater
Its perfect for a paintball field =)
Also handy for transporting equipment-and if its covered-then you have some portable storage. You also now have a portable 120 psi air compressor for small to medium sized air tools. Add a PTO generator and you have electricity.
he he....both 6TL batteries came back last night with a 10 minute 40 amp charge followed by 2 hour 10 amp charge each....now finishing with a one day trickle...but they load tested at 300 CCA each (actual@15 seconds)-so they should be good.
Revisiting this post to throw an idea out there?
I want to keep a 100% stock look but want some mufflerage:
How about removing the exterior stack and opening lengthwise (longitudinally) with a plasma, then replicating the NAPA type baffle system on the stock stack....mig welding her back up...
- Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices
Its just a cheapie in the toolbox but does its job...gives a quick sanity check on temperatures without the hassle of getting your hands and back dirty
Not my fist MV but my first deuce-got really lucky:
They lost the truck for 2 hours....we looked at EVERY VIN and sticker and then started looking in the lower lot where it should not have been....and she was there. Pulled and load tested the 6TL's and they were both at 8 volts-did not bother...
That does not look the the dump conversion-that is the "planter" conversion....it has been altered to grow vegetation. They seldom can be reversed engineered. I am all about saving vehicles....but X2 to leave it.
