    Linda's New Deuce

Welcome aboard and ditto on what everyone else said. Maybe it will arrive just in time for Christmas.

Will a Deuce fit my, umm "lifestyle"?

6'2 here. I can't jump in like the dukes of hazzard without demolishing a kneecap, but it's a nice fit. If you have to travel a while you can swing your legs out over the transmission tunnel and stretch out. Don't let height scare you. Those 5'3 munchkins can't spin a lug nut if they need to...

Wagner Power Sprayer for truck painting

I used one to paint a car hauler trailer I have. I obtained some "Caterpillar Yellow" and shot it with the wagner. I ended up using twice the paint I would have with a cheapie paint gun. Lot's of splater. I cleaned it up and threw it in back in a storage box. It's yours for the shipping. But the...

    I rebuilt My AirPack(PICS)

Nice job. Sorry about the workmans comp claim on your hand. It was also nice of your wife to let you move the kitchen counter downstairs to complete the job.

    Antenna and mount

I'm looking for a whip antenna and mount. I've seen a couple mounted on the front right side of the bed. Anybody got a source?

detroit locker in the rear axle(s)

Lots of interesting opinions and info. I rock crawl with my jeep. I run a Detroit in the rear and a Detroit limited slip in the front. My jeep is still a daily driver and that makes the best combo for both worlds. I would have to agree that a locker in the front would probably overstress the...

    transporting 2 M105 trailer question

Bad idea. Deuce forward speed x distance traveled = damage to deuce bed/tailgate plus trailer carnage.

    bearings

Looks like Clinto's dislike for auto trannies has spread. Now, he's a bearing hater.

    Deuce done!

there is a couple of listings on GL for groups of six engines. At least one or two in each batch look new. Might be a better solution. Of course six engines makes for a long trip back from Ft Bragg.

That's what happens when you don't have a good immigration policy. Happy Thanksgiving all.

    Loose door glass

I guess wind noise from my loose glass assembly was not a customer satisfaction concern when my Deuce was still under factory warranty. rofl

    Loose door glass

My door glass windows are loose in the channels. Glass and frames are fine they just rattle when down and pull out at the top when rolled up. Ironhorsethegeneral was telling me there is a kit to fix that. Anybody know what I need and where to find it?

    picking up my deuce

Congratulations! There is nothing quite like that first ride home after scooping one up. It's as much fun as Christmas morning when I was 5. You can't quit smiling.

List of mods I have completed on my deuce

Wow!! Let me know when you plan on a yard sale. I want dibs on one of your used, reverse engineered weedeaters.

    pyro temp reading too high

Well, two complete turns (backing off) on the fuel metering nut and I'm borderline just over 1200 degrees. I guess the NA engines have the fuel turned up substantially higher than the turboed ones. I think I'm going to throw another 1/4 turn for good measure.

    Mileage and Deuces

Mine had 51000 on it when I bought it which is kind of high compared to some of the other odometers however, I'll agree with FrieghtTrain. There's no telling how many are really on any of them. Basic maintence on these or any engine will allow it run for lots of miles and years. I've done less...
