    Nice pic of my Deuce

Awesome pics! I can't help but add mine. This is from the Ga SS Rally this fall.

    M35 windshield frames

I replaced mine a while back because they were scabbing like yours. My new ones are Korean and work fine. The reason they rust is because water pools in the bottom frame. When you drive after it rains (I wish it would) it leaks out the bottom corners. I'm going to install a drain hole so that...

Finally! M66 ring mount installed (with pics)

Awesome job! Looks like you made it thru without arc welding the back hoe to the deuce via the overhead wires. One of these days I want to acquire a ring for mine.

    pyro temp reading too high

The pyro is in just like the instructions you sent me Bjorn. I think the gauge is reading accurate. The truck would run 65 before the turbo addition so, I think the fuel was turned up. How far should I back it down? A 1/4 turn, half turn or just barely move it? Thanks.

    pyro temp reading too high

Negative. The air filter had no effect.

    pyro temp reading too high

I recently turbo'ed my truck. I rolled the timing back during the swap and installed a pyrometer. Since being able to monitor the EGT if I get under a load or floor it the temp reading on the pyrometer will go up past 1200. I have to throttle way back to keep it below 1150 when climbing a hill...

    Hoses

That unit is deep behind enemy lines. It will be a risky mission. Start eating Cap'n Crunch now Freight Train. I think they only serve bran muffins over there. YUCK!

    Working the Deuce, Vol. 12,385

I'm going to get another Mountain Dew. I got tired just looking at the pics. Awesome job Clinto and what a way to let the neighbors know your buddy has friends with noisey junk. (just kidding) Did you grab the neighbors poodle and scrub the truck down when you left? Did your unit come with the...

    run ins with law enforcement

I have never had a problem with any. I too, used to be a peace officer and still know tons of them. They don't want to hassle with a MV. There is something unpatriotic about lighting one up and making a traffic stop. How many people stop at the weight stations? I've always blown past them and...

    Low level radiation

Anybody ever seen this phrase in a govliquidation description? I wonder if some new guy just defaulted on the description page. If not, I wonder what they got exposed too? Maybe you don't need headlights to drive at night. http://cgi.govliquidation.com/auction/view?id=1437169&convertTo=USD

How high a Gasoline/Diesel ratio can you run in a Multifuel?

Environmental whackos have a zero btu/cetane/octane rating. It comes from eating all that tree bark and cardboard. Plus, they'll burn out the flux capacitor. They can be easily lured into liking a deuce if you erect a large nest next to the stack and install a spotted owl.

    jumpstart

Hey Recovery, if you call your local Interstate Battery supplier he might pay you for them. Lead is up in price. Worse case, he'll take them for free.

    m35 a2 whistler

There are two starter relays on the engine. One is on the starter and the other is just above the starter on the side of the engine block under the exhaust manifold. Mine did the same thing and it was the relay on the side of the engine block. I replaced it and it did the same thing again. I...

    Removing oil gallery plug

Got it! I drilled a hole thru the center, inserted a jigsaw blade, cut it in 4 sections and then loosened it with a hammer and punch. The turbo is now up and running. I noticed a big difference in low end torque improvement. It seems to top out and be a little more sluggish around 50-55 than...

    turbo install problem

I've got the turbo hung and I'm trying to remove the oil gallery plug in the side of the engine block for the oil supply line. The thing won't budge and I've rounded of the square fitting. I'm planning on heating it up tomorrow and then trying to remove it with a pipe wrench. If that fails, I...

    Removing oil gallery plug

I'm in the middle of a turbo install and I'm trying to remove the oil gallery plug. It won't budge and I have rounded the edges trying to remove it. Any suggestions?? Tomorrow I'm going to try to heat the plug and then try to move it with a pipe wrench. If that won't work I guess I'll have to...

    Pyrometers, options, mounts...

Where to mount the pyrometer Anybody have pics of where they mounted the pyrometer gauge? I need some ideas. Thanks.

    Pyrometers, options, mounts...

Where to get a pyrometer? Where is the best place to get a pyrometer? Is there a difference in brands/performance? I'm converting mine in a week and want to go ahead and install one before the turbo addition. Thanks

    Amber headlights

The french... see I have this theory. Any time you loose possession of your country twice in the same century and you have to call in outside help to get it back... you are no longer entitled to have an opinion about anything regarding world affairs ever again. Any vehicles your so called army...
