When I fist saw this thread it made me wonder if 12x20's can fit on the deuce dualed without rubbing the trunnion bearing cover excessively, as I know it touches enough to wear the paint with 11x20s. If I was running 11s I'd consider a 1/4" plate to set the wheels out enough to clear...
What a neat idea! I saw a guy selling heaters and wondered where I could put a 2nd one. I find the heater in very cold weather to be a suggestion with the soft top. I'd also like to get the top to seal up with the cab behind the seats as the straps allow it to bow out and blow all the road...
I think I address this in my Youtube video from 5 years or so ago. I recall being told by the experienced guys at the injecotr shop that they set them high as the pop pressure generally drifts down as the mechanical injectors wear. Hope this helps.

The TM has a minimum thickness, but not a NEW thickness. I have a set of shoes at the shop to be relined and would like to make them the same as a NEW milspec shoe. They are turning the drums also. Has anyone ever measured a NEW shoe that has the original friction...
Yea, what is happening is that the big steel pin is taper fit into that big bracket and it basically sucks the heat away. If you use a TIG machine and angle towards the pin with the power turned up you can get good penetration. I generally like TIG better than MIG due to being able to control...
