I ran up I-5 into WA and up to 67 MPH (per GPS) till I grabbed a fresh deli sandwich (yummy!) and two bags to groceries at Winco. Running the tank very low with a fuel can handy to burn off the last of the veg oil before it gets too cold.
What is the size of the slot on your puller?
Note there are other threads about pulling the steering wheel from military vehicles:

Anyone know the width of the slot on the military steering wheel puller? A picture of the shaft with the steering wheel off? Or a close op of the back view of the steering wheel hub?
Trying to pull M35A2 steering wheel
Another Oregonian, hello! I'm trying to pull my wheel and fabricated my own puller. I have the nut out about 1/4 inch and a 1 inch or so socket on it in the center. I put penetrating oil on it a week ago and I still cannot get it off (I've tightened the...
Convoy from Portlandia
I'm planning on coming up Friday in a convoy with Josh. It's just me this year as my wife and son are visiting with her dad. Anything I should bring?
I'm having a similar issue. When I got my truck (about 4+ years ago) I would sometimes get a clunk and no start. I replaced the batteries and never had an issue since. Over the weekend I stopped after driving 45 minutes or so on a hot day and got the "click." Had a buddy give me a pull and...
I got sick of the doors sticking on my truck and tried to remove the hinge bolts holding the doors, but they are rust-welded, they will break or need to be torched. I would like to replace them with stainless steel and have a great industrial fastener place close by. I recall someone on here...
What is any of that supposed to mean?
I have no doubt that there have been failures using synthetic, conventional, or blends. “No failures” is not a reasonable standard as you have no idea what really caused the failure. A better question or standard is: Does a given oil reduce failure rates...
That is consistent with my observations and the info on the JA Tonka site. After bypassing the FDC I see up to about 14-15psi boost and EGT's can go much higher if I am not careful. Good luck and enjoy the extra power if you make mods.
I installed the 3535XL a couple years ago. Is it the same muffler? I'd like to hear good audio of the cat 3116 through the same muffler

I'd like to do an extra set of horns also. What does the R-14 do for you? I found this yet not sure your idea with it. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/392673/Bendix-R-12-R-14-Relay-Valves.html
I always let my truck warm up for a bit before taking off. With the exception of when it was shut off for a short time, such as to drop books off at the library.
Do you have a pic of the cooling passage and lack of a cooling passage?
I think I've seen your truck. One of my childhood...
Did you have any trouble with Home Depot understanding the paint color you were looking for? I heard that they changed a system or something and could no longer find out how to mix the MIL colors. Or was it a particular person at HD that did not know what they were doing?
I'd never heard of them. Goodyear Military tire catalog page coutouts below (I saved the military pages as a pdf but dunno how to share that here). Basically, they are an inch wider and taller (G177 43.7 and G272 44.7). I imagine these 12's on deuce wheels would badly exceed the recommended...
