Wow that is very interesting! I have never liked the location of the winch controls, always feel like I am looking down the barrel of a gun. I have thought about, and still probably will, make some sort of shield.
Hey Guys,
I am hunting for TM's for a LARC-V, first question is do they exist? If they do where might I find them. Haven't been able to find anything! Thanks :)
Hey Guys,
I am working on a M1009 that has obviously had the heater core bypassed at some point. I have two main questions.
1.) On a stock truck, I know one of the hoses attaches at the crossover, but where does the other one attach? The water pump? That is the only other plug I see...
I have an M816 and I have a lot of tandem axle movement over 50mph. Would like to be able to cruise a little faster, or at least ride decent downhill. :P I have tried two different sets of tires, both a very nice set of new 11R20 XZL's and another nice set of 14R20 AT2A's and both have the same...

Lax, you can ignore the next bit of info to avoid confusion. Recovry4x4, I believe there were four transmissions offered in the M44 series...
Transmission is a Spicer 3053, Transfer Case is a Rockwell T136, Axles are commonly referred to as Rockwell 2.5T axles. The axles have a model number but I am not familiar with it. The Lubrication order will have fluid types listed.
Edit: Transmission is a 3053A
Hey, good to know out data matches up! Thank you. After looking at more websites than I care to remember, I finally found the dimensions for the gasket in the original Cummins kit and matched it to a 5271 Napa. Dimensions by the listing are only 2 hundredths off. One will be in for me in the...
