the one gen belt is brand new the other is old but usable. i put a 12volt kit on a month or so ago so the belts where checked then. the squealing had been an intermittent issue ofver the winter but only at start up and soon after would go away. i had always attributed it to being a bad...
sorry to brig this back from the dead but im having a similar issue however rather than the squealing occuring at temp it only seems to do it for about 5-10 min when i first start the truck. if i watch the voltage it will spike and then i will hear it squeal, shutting off the acessory switch...
what about the ATF fluid? unfortunately as many of the states laws read your in violation if you run anything other than taxed fuel (gas, kerosine, diesel, ect) in your vehicle on the road, period. there isnt room to wiggle and telling them you ran anything other than those fuels is essentially...
check your parking brake and make sure it moved freely and is adjusted correctly after that i would check the drive line for anything suspicious (damage, foreign material, ect). also make sure the bearings are torqued correctly, i doubt it but its possible there is enough play in them that when...
well it seems to be getting worse or at least im noticing it more. its been in the 50's for the last two weeks and its still i beast to get started. honestly i only notice it when i try to start it in the morning so i kind of wonder if the pump is losing prime but then when i recently ran it out...
i just did them both, honestly not too bad to do. easy to get off but a little cramped, getting them on is a pain. starting the treads on the line where it goes into the block is a two man job and then its a tight bend so starting it on the ip sucks too. the bottom line is real easy.
i had to...
im having a serious issue removing the stearing arm from the drivers side, i have removed the nuts from the studs but the arm wont budge. after beating at it i noticed that there are tapered insets that compress around the studs to hold everything tight. my problem is they are in there good and...

Probably would have helped if I would have checked my tittle before publishing this, darn iPhone keyboard and auto correct...
Hope for the sake of my ego a mod can correct that, tap talk sure doesn't have an option.
FYI: best not beat
How to Use/best use the search function
After reading all the issues relating to the use, misuse, and lack of use as well as my personal experiences with the "search" I thought I'd start a thread to offer tips and advice to users, new and old alike.
I like many have been frustrated with the...
the first link is dead but the other two are by members that have been around for a few years. looks like although there post count is low that perhaps an exception was made, likely based on the length of membership.
good news! ive got the weekend locked in for time off! i decided being a truck show il like something a little extra so i convinced my dad to let me barrow his willies to put in the back of the deuce. lol
oh the irony! in the case of the Green addiction going big is never the problem, rather we are destine to suffer the plight of inadvertently going too big and not being able to go home.
moved myself from my small 1 bedroom apt with mine. it was packed solid and not enough room. furniture took up alot of space and i only had a small sofa, chair, dresser and small table, the rest was packed in and around filling all the free space. also consider the cargo cover isnt perfect at...
