Try to find something that is still running the stock 24v setup. If your truck is stock and something goes wrong you can get help from the TMs or many of the guys from the site. If you have a 12v conversion or some bubba electrical modifications you will be on your own. Just my two cents worth.
Welcome to the site. You have my next Jeep! I have flatty fever right now but the finances are not in order to get one. You should post some pictures of your toys.
I love those old Diamonds. They are some of the best looking MVs and they were made in Lansing, MI. The best cars have always been made in the smitten mitten.
Ah, I see. Well you can't go wrong with a BFG AT. That is my favorite tire of all time. My F150 will be getting a set for next winter. I had a little bit of sticker shock when I went from a 15" rim on my old truck to a 17" on my new one, double the price for the same size tire.

I know you can put a king pin on a M36 to make what is pretty much a light duty M818, I saw one for sale in Florida this spring. I would just get an 818; they are plentiful, require no modification, and are not that much bigger than a deuce.
What a difference paint can make, eh? It is looking really nice. Do you have it all put back together yet? I read through this whole thread without noticing that you were from across the pond but your spelling of tires gave you away. Good luck with the rest of the resto and those are some nice...
That is an impressive truck. Rather than towing a M105 to protect your batteries you should get yourself a 105mm Howitzer. People will think twice about tailgating you when they are staring down the barrel of an artillery piece.
