CTIS is hit or miss. Out of 6 trucks I've recovered maybe two of them had working CTIS. If you're driving them home plan for the worst and prey for the best. It's best to check with your state on cdl requirements. My guess is you will need a cdl due to weight and not being any kind of rv. Tires...
Nope it fits fine. I cut the hard top in half and bolted the rear of it right to the rear cab.

I cut my rear cab right along the outer side of the frame. The more you support the rear cab the better.
I think the hydraulic kits are the way to go. The air assist is way better than non assist but if in a tight spot with lots of turning you will run out of air.
RDUKW can you post some more pictures of your top please. I was going to use the gunner hole from my soft top in the hard top but that hatch you used is more like I want.
I've been looking for information on the LWs gun shield and I found this picture with measurements on it. Before I make one I was wondering if anyone who has one could let me know if they are correct. Thanks for any help.
I agree with Welldigger. Being able to check brake fluid lever every time before you drive is priceless. I mounted mine under the trap door on the floor.
I have an extra plate with my LWS. I've looked at every picture I could find of the Hmmwv and M939 LWS turrets and have never seen this piece. Does anyone know if it's just a K bar cover? Extra support?
