A great ending to your daunting air pack/brake issue. Every time I saw the thread I thought, I hope he has not given up yet! Now keep that thing on the road so it gives you more happiness than hassle. I remember when I first got my deuce, brakes locked up on the ride home. Rebuilt the...
I'm no expert on these but if it were me I would put in two good batteries and properly start up and then see what problems you are having. Common sense doesn't seem to always work for electrical stuff.. the gremlins are always in there up to something..
I drove mine into work as well but people here just love it. I had parked it on the street first, feeding the meeter every 2 hours but then the parking cop said the truck was too heavy for the street (a bunch of BS). Avoiding any further confrontation I moved it to a spot.
Here's a link for the show next year, you'll love it, I go now every year and may camp out one of these times..

They already have the dates set for next year..
Did you go to the Sussex show in the spring? That's a great show and right in your backyard. Good to check out trucks and see what you like. Not to mind get to know the local vendors as well.
Welcome to the site, just by logging on and browsing posts you'll learn allot.
It seems that weird brake problems are usually the Airpack. There are so many parts to it that I don't know what they all do, you just need to clean it all up as best you can and replace whatever is in the rebuild kit. Best of luck to ya!
Thinking I may go ahead and add the EGT gauge, doesn't seem like too hard of an upgrade and it would be good to monitor the EGT's even though I have the non-turbo. Anyone recommend a standard unit with cable/sensor that will run on 24v or will it power itself? I heard both reading into this a...
Hey guys, I was thinking of turning up the fuel in mine as well but had a question first. I do not have any turbo on my truck, do I still need to add a pyro gauge? Just curious as I don't have much knowledge about this stuff... yet..
I think it depends on how handy you are and how far off the price is. Also how much a little piece of mind is vs. saving a few $$. For instance I purchased a MEP002 from GL for around $700 vs. a private sale anywhere between 2-3,000. That was a big enough savings for me to deal with potential...
I recently got my 1102, it's a great trailer and very light for it's size. Remember the zip ties on your trip because the magnets will stick to nothing as it's mostly all aluminum.
Best of luck with the recovery, here's a pic of my recovery..
If you want to take a look at allot of trucks you can drive 1.5 hours south and check out Kublos Surplus in Brackney PA. Kenny has I think over 100 trucks. Not sure if he has any bobbed though but it would be a great learning experience for ya.
Sounds like you are mechanically inclined, you...
Hey I am in NY and may consider selling my M105 which is in pretty good shape for $600. I am deliberating as I am writing this so PM me if you need it. It's like my Mobile Shed for a while till I can build a small barn.
Just catching up on my old thread, well old to me now. Glad to have posted and give back a little from my experience. Without this great website and community that I have grown to know over the past few years I probably would have never owned a deuce. Now I can't ever see myself without one...
Drove it to Home Depot after a quick charge of the batteries.. yeah you know where this is going. Got her all loaded up with wood for the deck, right around closing time (10pm) on Sat. Go to crank and nothing.. darn! Asked a guy for help and he got one of the cashiers to bring her car over to...
