Milling machine pickup from Albany, GA

I went and bid on a milling machine from GL, and actually won. The only problem is that I can't get down there during the weekday to pick it up. Can anyone get it off base for me? It's 2000lbs. 0001 - Uncategorized at Government Liquidation

I'm not looking forward to replacing mine. I also have to re-align the axles, they're pretty tweaked.

    Stuck in my yard....TWICE!!

1stDeuce, Lowering the pressure on a 2 1/2 ton helps, but the front of a 5 ton is just way too heavy.

Glad I could help another green iron addict from a potential mistake down the road! I think I'm just gonna bob this truck though :) No more dog bones

    I'm 2 for 2 now on breaking deuces :(

    Recovery4x4, It's a 1969 and I just crossed 500 miles and 99 hours  I don't think those bushings got flexed much.

    I'm 2 for 2 now on breaking deuces :(

My best guess is too much twisting. I got to a spot where I couldn't go any further without the risk of getting stuck, so I had to back up like 100ft. The trail edges were about 1-2ft higher and I had to do about a 6pt turn to get turned around. The thing is I heard alot of popping in the back...

If I'm going to have to go to the trouble of fixing it I might as well just bob this one as well.

    I'm 2 for 2 now on breaking deuces :(

I had a friend come in from out of town who wanted to take his jeep out. I took my other deuce out just in case he got stuck. :-D Unfortunately while offroading the dogbone came undone (the rubber bushing came out of the hole) and the front tandem axle shifted sideways a few inches. :shock...

    My shop van runs rough

I had the same problem with old diesel in one of my deuces I bought from GL. I put in 10 gals of gasoline. So far has ran great after that. The gasoline will cut down that varnished diesel and it'll run in the multifuel just fine.

Guys I really made a boo-boo -warning carnage!

Update - So I checked over the steering on the truck. Turns out the slop in the steering was a spacer that I forgot to install inside the drag link. The steering gearbox is still suprisingly in good shape. :-D All I need to get her back to normal is a drag link and some body parts...
