    Deuce owners in the Northeast

Got by Bobber from a private seller in Middletown for $5,500. That's a steal now a days and I just bought it in Nov! Got my nice 395's from Kenny at Kublos. I think if I get another I will see what he has first..

    Wobbly window?

I think they all wobble to a certain extent, my drivers side window is a little difficult to get up at times but the passenger one is better. I would like to get less wobble myself when they are up.

    Wet Interior

While you are at it check the rear sliding window, Mine was all gummed up with junk and the weep holes to let the water out were clogged. That could cause it to drip inside too.

    Wet Interior

I was debating on looking for a "vent visor" that I could manipulate to fit on the top of the cab just above the window to divert the water away from getting in. One thing I did notice was that water was getting in around the seams in the back of the cab where it joins the bottom of the cab and...

    need to move Deuce 360miles

I sometimes get some soot at the top as well. Usually if I forget to put the coffee can on top of the stack. Then water gets in, as you start to warm up the exhaust the water turns to steam and mixes with the exhaust gases and creates a soot that sticks to the of the truck or around the exhaust...

    Best first MV?

Go for the Deuce, you can put in a slightly smaller 18" steering wheel instead of the 20" but you may need a bit more arm power. In the hills of CT and NY you may not get up to 55mph all the time depending on the grade. I can tell you this however, it's never been more fun going slow.. PS...

    What is wrong today...

Well when I first bought mine this past Nov it sat for a while because I had a few bad brake lines, then had to re-build the air pack and then the M/C.. So it happens, now I have two ripped CV boots in the front which I will replace tomorrow. Dude really WMO without filtering it first? Now you...

    found a M35A2

That's awesome you got it!! And for 3,500 I think you got a great deal, It's my belief that in 5+ years from now with how you plan on maintaining it you could get double that for it.. Then again you'll be putting a bunch of $$ into it. But you won't find another truck that will pay you back...

Nice score! With a nice box on the back like that and wanting to use it as a camper I would not bob it. Best of luck with it!

All the stuff I did to my deuce, right here

I just did the same muffler on my stack, however mine is a NON turbo so I needed some reducer pipes. Here are some pics of mine. The cab is definitely more quiet than before. Thanks for the idea Sewerzuk!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well I didn't use the deuce, but put my M105 trailer to work picking up a 275 gallon heating oil tank. Also had about 85 gallons of good heating oil in it! That went right into the tank at home. That's about $300 of heating oil for Free! And now I have a nice big tank for my WMO too!
