    need to move Deuce 360miles

smeeg, glad to hear you found a truck. Let me know if you have any questions on things as we're practically neighbors. There is also a guy in Lake Carmel with a M109. It will be good to see some other MV's rolling around the area.

Great Deal on Civi Trailer Light Kit

That's neat, I didn't know that, however I do want the ability to use both on short notice so I didn't want to go around switching bulbs and such.. Hey I figured for $8 you can't go wrong..

Dumpster truck backed into my M1009!

Too bad, I would have taken the check and done the touchups myself.. That way you have a few extra $$ in the bank.. Well looks like you'll get some new rubber for the window though.

Great Deal on Civi Trailer Light Kit

Northen tools has this set on sale right now for... $8.. originally $20, You can't even get a replacement light for that!!. I just got mine which I plan on adding to my M105 so if I need to move it with my Navigator I will have lights. It also comes with a License plate bracket and all the...

Front axle seals and boots stepXstep

Dream Girl, I don't have the TM handy and I have to do this as well so thanks for asking the question. My leaks are pretty good, I can stick a finger or two through the rip. From what I have heard they call leak a little bit. I haven't had the chance to fix it yet so I have been pumping some...

Its great to hear feedback like this and the members here should get it and be recognized for it. Not sure if they may bump your post to the "Member Recognition" category..?

    New Data Plate Source

I'd love to get a bobbed deuce Data plate as shown in the pic attached. Never heard back from the guy that made these... Hope they can get around that watermark!

Going to live in my deuce in Oklahoma....

Just a thought, I know others have said to sell your stuff but that's a one time pickup. I would check with Bankruptcy as well as that may be an option. Ever thought of perhaps being a care taker of a house or land/farm? Perhaps something that's not too labor intensive since you already have...

Positives Negatives to doing a Bobber

Sorry dude but that's the best mis-spell EVER!!.. Winch! As far as a bobber goes, I love mine, easier to park, lighter and I get around 10-13 mpg or so. I think bigger tires are easier to put on without the extra axle as well.

One Piece at a Time...My Deuce Project

Kublo's Surplus in PA...Looking for feedback.

I wish he was closer to me, I'd be up there once a month! Do the trip you won't be disappointed. Kenny is a great guy with good reasonable prices. I got my 395's from him and a bunch of other stuff, I couldn't be happier!

    M105a2

The air would activate it. If you are towing with a CIVI truck then I assume you have no hookup. You can still tow it but you will have no working brakes. I towed mine back with a Navigator and it towed it nicely, just had to plan my stops a little more.

    Ryan's Deuce build

That's going to be sweat when it's re-done! Can't wait to see the rebuild!

New guy from vegas checking in

Welcome and read up on this site first. There is plenty of info here on what to look for when purchasing a Deuce. Also unless you know someone who works on them, prepare to learn how to be a mechanic! Don't forget to look at the Technical Manuals (TM's) here on the site they break down every...
