Thank you, 86 humv for excellent pictures and answer. New bracket looks taller so I think I will pass on early model as I plan on pulling M1102. The expertise on this site is invaluable! Bob
Found answer on Rhino website: does not interfere with towing M1101 and M1102 trailers. Must have missed this first read. If anyone has found this not to be true please post. Thank you
I know this has been discussed before but want to be sure that the rhino carrier does not position the spare so that it interferes with the surge brakes on M1102. I know there is a pintle extension but don't want to install unless I must. Thanks, Bob
Bought the Jatonka ones mentioned. Good fit. Back seat is laced on with paracord. Fast shipping. Thay are much more comfortable and look much more "GI"
Jeepsinker: just cranked up 3 diesels to let my neighbors know I'm steill here. Have 6 1102 trailers behind our fence so no violation. Would like a 5 ton but probably not a good idea. If you are coming this way let me know, All my friends are eccentric. Bob
Not good at posting pics. The plates are triangular with 3 holes for fasteners. I have looked thru my -20P and cannot find this part. I have seen several M1009 where these are rusted thru or crudely replaced. It seems that all body parts for K5 Blazers are available somewhere, I just haven't...
Does anyone make/sell the reinforcing plates that go in the front fender wells at the back? Couldn't find them in LMC catalog. There is a left and a right. Could fabricate but has 2 channels pressed in and flat plate would not be a good fit. Thanks
Picked up M1102 today at Ft. Hood. 2010, newest radials I bought! Was told Gov. Liquidation has one more lot before Gov planet takes over. Great service as always, hope it doesn't change. Sooner or later the M1101/M1102 should be gone.
What a great job. I may paint mine all 383 buy I'm afraid the imperfections in previous prep and paint will be be evident. My door sills are 180 degrees different installation with the thinner end to the rear. Which is correct? I marked mine when I took them out left and right. Don't mean to...
Having bought 5 of these trailers, my advice would be to buy a complete trailer with top, bows, brackets, and then sell your incomplete one. You should end up many dollars ahead. Bob
Good turn out in spite of rain. Glad to see new faces. Drive to brunch was in rain and airbornebandsman had a thrill with his truck..turned out ok. Wish we could get more of the mv crowd out to join us. The monthly car show is really fun..all kinds of cars and trucks. I enjoyed the old land...
