    M1078A1 "Pandora" Build | 2024-??? | ***Picture Heavy***

Every time I've compared, oshcut was cheaper by a bit

    M1078A1 "Pandora" Build | 2024-??? | ***Picture Heavy***

Just a hint, oshcut takes .sldprt files directly, no need to convert them to dxf :)

    M1078 A1 transfer case

Absolutely ridiculous they charge so much for something that is fixing their original error. They also charged far less a year ago.

    M1078A1 "Pandora" Build | 2024-??? | ***Picture Heavy***

I've ordered quite a few things from oshcut, a number from corten as well. My generator is held on the truck with some of them. Have a bambu x1c I've used to make various truck things. Working with solidworks as well.

    Caterpillar 3126B oil cooler problems

Did this on my C7 today, went smoothly, except the studs wanted to turn into the manifold a little when using new nuts. Studs are now slightly inset from nut end now, this is exacerbated by the thicker grimspeed gasket. Cooler plate was warped about .015" but I was able to flatten it by putting...

    Load Sensing Valve Delete?

A1R, no load sensing valve present.

    Load Sensing Valve Delete?

She won't budge with parking brake and full throttle in 1st... so that's good :)

    Load Sensing Valve Delete?

Interesting, all that would point to the rear wearing faster, I wonder why the fronts are down more. Truck only has 3,000 miles so I doubt they've replaced any shoes. The wedge mechanisms are in good shape as well.

    Load Sensing Valve Delete?

Are the front A1R cans larger than the backs? When checking my brakes I noticed the front shoes showed significantly more wear. Edit: yes, 5.5"dia for rear, 6"dia for front

    Load Sensing Valve Delete?

M1096 A1R here and when my abs was not functioning, I could easily lock my rear brakes and get going sideways. Load sensing valve makes a lot of sense and I would leave it. There is a reason race cars are fitted with brake bias adjusters.

I've heard if I paint them red my truck will be faster

Well, I finally got around to painting my rusty eco hubs. Sandblasted, primed and painted with Rust-Oleum flat black professional. Makes for very easy touch ups. Also installed brand new CTIS assemblies, some of mine were looking crusty (all worked perfectly though, as I rebuilt them last year...

I have, I really hate subscriptions and since we already have a phone plan I'd like to make that work if possible. It's a secondary plan if this doesn't work for us.

Being that a metal box isn't the best for cell signals, working on installing a booster. So far tests have been very promising. This will allow us more freedom as we sometimes need internet for work. Before: After:

F no. I know some like the pushbutton, but not this guy.

Did this a few weeks ago, but always disliked the pushbutton light controller. The manual one is so much easier to use. After a few weeks of use I definitely won't be going back!

I could, it's just a standard radio, the DTMF tones are already built into the radio so it makes it quick and easy to get up and running. In theory I could have an Alexa device or something similar in the habitat, and command it over the radio as well.

Sending DTMF tones with radio keypad. The receiving radio has its speaker input fed into a tone decoder, that spits out a 4 bit code for the Arduino to read. For transmission from the truck, Arduino is connected to microphone input and a tone can be generated. The radio has vox enabled to...

    From fire truck to MTV

Not a bad view from our most recent trip! Have figured out how to remotely interface with the Arduino controller using common radios. This way I can control anything remotely the microcontroller has control over -which is nearly everything. Only have non-harmfull options available to control...

    From fire truck to MTV

Finally got the last bucket of ATF, I think this was the 3rd try from amazon....I feel bad from all the deliveries that failed due to damage. I imagine huge spills of ATF all over the floor of vans. My method was to disconnect the return line from the cooler, this proved a little difficult as my...
