With everything you've replaced, there is bound to be some air in the lines. Make sure you follow the proper procedures for bleeding the lines.

It would seem to be a common point of failure on the m1009 tailgates. I have small cracks forming on both of mine. Luckily, I have one perfect tailgate waiting to be swapped with one of them.

This topic has been discussed many times in regards to the M1010. A stock M1010 has a different setup than all the other CUCVs in regards to the charging circuit.
