Nice hitch Mr. True Knight. Good quality on the install also. I put one on my 1028 a few years ago. It was a very good upgrade to the truck.
Thanks for posting the pictures.

The last 09 I had, had the same problem. The problem was the 30 amp fuse/ breaker. I found it very hot when I touched it. I removed it with my Gerber pliers, poured water over it to cool it off and reinstalled it. The lights worked again. I later replaced it. Good Luck, Pvt Hotdog
Mr. CPAPPY:
Do you get in trouble with the stains on the concrete driveway like me? I/we really enjoy your restoration thread. The pictures are great and your quality of workmanship is top notch.
Thank you Sir.

If you can weld or know someone that can, an oil pan mod is very doable. We did it all the time when we were drag racing. The first one I did was welded with a torch and a coat hanger. No minutes and no leaks.
Good luck and keep us updated on your progress.
Thanks, Pvt. Hotdog

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! What in the world? Who ever heard of exploding glow plugs? Please hang on to them, I can't wait to see them. Just think what has to happen to get them to the point of exploding. Good thing you were out of the way. You don't need any more shrapnel in you Brother...
I saved another M-1008 the other day. I know there are still plenty of these trucks out there, but someday they will be hard to find. Thirty or so years from now my Son or Daughter will be glad that Dad saved all of this junk........ or maybe it will be the junk dealer that will be glad.
I know...
