:funny: I didn't think of that, just never got his name on the phone and didn't know how big of an operation he runs over there so I didn't want to assume. Funny none the less. I found the pic in the TM of the new location for the switch.. here it is for any one else who is planning to do...
:ditto:
I would go with Kenny at Kublos knowing what I know now about Deuces.. I rather spend a little extra $$ upfront then get stuck out on the road somewhere..
Thanks for the pics Jesse, that definitely helps me out in the visual dept. ODdave, you are probably right in the leak, but that was the part that I had forgotten to tighten up at the end of my rebuild so I figured it was that. Seeing how it only took a 1/4 turn to snap it off perhaps it was...
Already ordered the kit, Saturn was out temporarily but Eriks had it for $68 with all the pieces to plumb it in including the plug which I just ran around looking for but didn't find. Looks like I will have everything I need.. I figured I could get it a little cheaper but I don't mind paying a...
I was thinking of that too, thought I would check out the local Home Depot. I assume nothing copper as it's on the fluid side. I will look for a steel one. Thanks patracy!!
Now I just have to read up on the details of the upgrade and I should be all set. If there is not one out there...
Yeah get one in PA, plenty of them around in this area, I know Kenny at Kublos has like over 100 trucks on his lot. Plenty of other good guys around too. Check out the classifieds here as well!
Thanks guys, I am going to look into that upgrade since it's broke anyway. May as well upgrade it! Going to check availability of those kits now.. Thanks Again!!
So I look under the truck to check things out just before I am going to take her to the car show for the first time.. So I see a small leak over by the airpack. So I turn the nut on the front about a 1/4 turn and OH SNAP!! broke right off.:(
I believe this is the stoplight switch? Can't...
Make sure you can still get to the hatch for the master cylinder unless you have a remote reservoir.. But I am sure you already know that one.., I am going to be doing something similar but I am going to try the Lizard Skin product I think. Go over the firewall and such..
Great trade.. I think! I have a M105 trailer that I would trade for one of those too! I would love to have that to move stuff around the property. Don't know anything about them either. I would love to know how much they could haul or pull..
Buying in NY you may only have a transferrable registration. That's what I have. You don't need a CDL to drive it. Motor Vehicle Dept will register it as Commercial unless you have Historical Insurance where the registration will be much cheaper, but that depends on what you plan on doing...
I got lucky with a guy that services generators.. That stuff is so clean I want to use it as engine oil in my car first! Anyway check out companies in your area servicing generators, that may work. I was also for myself going to check local shops that service lawnmowers and such.. they usually...
Sweet ride, looks like she just rolled off the assembly line! Are the headlights aftermarket? Kind of look like a Hella H4 conversion, on my list of things to do..but perhaps it's just very clean stock lamps?
