Here are a few things on my wish list all for a M35A2. I am interested in a new drivers seat, possibly aftermarket or a least the spring setup so I can use on the pass side, I want to mount something a little more comfortable on the drivers side and another for the pass side.
Also may be in...
Knew I wanted one ever since I saw Tremors 2.. My silverado was rusting out from under me and I wanted something that was going to LAST! The multi-fuel factor is a great plus as well! Mine is only for fun and the occasional trip to the hardware store. Can't wait to take the deuce to the...
:ditto::ditto::ditto: I believe it would be an xm381 then no? Here are some of the specs..
Crap.. didn't look at the original date of the post.. arggh!
Ah ha I heard "floating" called "power shifting" in the past.. Perhaps just another name.. kind of like, Hoagie, Hero, Grinder, Wedge.. hey are all just sandwiches!
Going to go get the paint for my eyeballs.. That's the one I remember.. Going to use first more often now.. Just wish it was easier to get in and out of.
Crazywelder, with those 53's (I'm guessing) you probably have even more strain on the clutch. First is a pain in the A but I am going to...
I suppose it's a little less stress on a bobbed deuce.. no? A little less weight to get rolling. I try to pick when starting in 2nd like if I can begin with a slow roll downhill.. when uphill I always use first.
I was wondering the same. 1st gear is so low when you switch over to 2nd you're barely moving anyway. The TM states First is First. Perhaps starting in 2nd will burn out the clutch faster..?
Inquiring minds want to know! ha.
Some of us here are limited by the town codes that we live in. Mine has length and weight requirements, hence me going with a bobbed version. I don't really need a 6x6 anyway, my truck is just for fun and the occasional trip to Home Depot. The last town I lived in (right next door) a friend...
:ditto: I found mine on Craigslist.. Best of luck with it! You'll find yourself wanting to drive it more than you think. Went to the store to pickup some eggs with it..:)
Those mirrors are cool, wonder what they came off of. I did see that truck in the other post and am probably one of the very few who like it. Wonder what new Zombie movie it will be in. Ha!
That's good, must have cost a pretty penny..but looks awesome! I think I am going to go with one of the DIY bed liner kits.. anyway I don't have a Linex guy near me..
Something different.. like it.. I assume you will paint all green like the truck or the truck camo to match the bed? Good job, can't wait to see the finished product..
They well.. stink! The previous owner gave me brand new large rectangular ones with the smaller round one too for both sides.. Can't wait to get the time to put them on!
Yes I love my wipers too! What wipers? They are in the box as well
