I believe you are looking for the wrong vehicle for the task at hand. M35s are not really a daily driver vehicle. I drive mine a few times a week but I would not want it as an everyday driver. You should look for an suv. If you are looking for a military vehicle an M1009. If you want a get me...
With both tubes down there is a chance of air getting trapped and reducing efficiency and flow rate. Thats why I pipe them in with side taps and also to allow any debris that may get in there to flow down and out. They are very solid unlike the regular tube style.
You using this for oil or for the trans? I prefer the plate type personally.
I used this type for my engine oil and the smaller versions of this for an automatic trans application. I pipe mine in with the inlet on the side at the top and the outlet on the side at the bottom.

swap out the 10 bolt and the 44. put in a dana 60 up front and a 14 bolt ff in the rear. Make sure you swap out the gov bomb in the 14 bolt too if it has one or it will cut your case in half when it breaks. I put a posi unit in the dana 60 and the no-spin in the 14 bolt. My truck is a Chevy 76...
There are LOTS of rim choices for 1 ton chevys. Pretty cheap deals out there sometimes too. I run the Steel 16" Enkeis' on my 1 ton. They look like these but 8 lug. My truck originally had 16.5 but they sometimes have bead issues offroad so I changed to the 16".
Don't forget to pickup an axle nut socket for that before you start if you don't already have one. It sucks to get elbow deep in grease and need to get cleaned up to run out and get something.
I don't have any experience on the multifuel but I noticed you said it had old cooking oil as well as waste oil. Could the cooking oil have solidified in the pump or injectors?
I added an tee to the glad hand shut off valve and installed an air hose connector. I carry my impact, standard issue gearwrench and a cheap torque multiplier in my toolbox. That combo gets everything off but I usually only need my 1/2 Earthquake XT to get them off. It has almost 1200 fl/lb of...
The side covers fit ok. They have some bends and so on in them from use but that adds to the character and history of the truck. I am not trying to make a show queen just repairing the broken hood. I want to keep as much of the history intact as I can with some tweeks for me.
This is a...
Got my hood back and the repair looks great. We are fixing some of the small cracks and pits in it before we finish painting it and put it back on. Not finished the Camo pattern yet obviously.
I used this type. Mine had fallen apart so I replace it.

I only know of 3 brands of lockout for the 2 1/2 ton axles. Overson, Selectro and AVM. I don't know if any is better than the other because I only have the AVM's on mine.
You don't NEED lockers in all 3 axles but you can put them in if you want. Depending on what you are going to do with the...
