i doubt many have, if any at all. the multifuel is large, heavy, and lacks power. unless someone is specifically looking towards the fuel capabilities of the engine i cant see any advantage given anything big enough to hold it would likely have a more powerful engine and anything else would...
most truck shops could do it. id hate to imagine the cost of labor. id look for a reputable truck/diesel shop and go from there. also another suggestion would be to call around to the surplus suppliers of parts for the M35 and ask. i was really surprised how many places down there deal with...
i just cant see it. unless there is somthing im not seeing, how would the forklift have gotten to the transmission? unless the truck was dropped onto something. i don't meant to seem argumentative, far from, i just cant picture how this happened.
i worry about this kinda thing all the time. i cant control what other people do but if i where in the position of that driver i would be eaten alive by this. at fault or not, my truck ran her car over kinda thing. scares me
already shopping. lol but ive decided to let the bank accounts recover. alot of unexpected expenses on this one. i chalk it up as a learning experience and be more prepared for the next.
and thank you to everyone!
same prob here, think its air in the lines. ive got to bleed them again and see.
first off, are you losing fluid? and the hand brake is independent of the rest of the brakes
after many complications yesterday was finally the day i got to drive it home. the trip was 200 miles and took just under 7 hours with a few stops. uneventful for the most part, the first hour was quite a learning experience but i took my time and enjoyed the trip. have to bleed the brakes again...
aprox. 49 inches on a bobbed truck (gets tight), 46 on a 6x6. HEMTT wheels are 20" just the same as stock, they are just wider. not sure what your asking there. 46" tires are prob the biggest youd really wanna go on stock wheels anyway, at least so far as ive seen.
tire rub up front can be an...
my truck had detailed instructions and warnings taped to the inside of the drivers window. ill bet its the gauges. alot of trucks are having them removed and i read here about dmro stating that one of the hold ups on euc's has been the extra paperwork dealing with this.
get it towed off base and inspect everything before you plan on driving it. lots of things can and do go wrong with these given the age and fact they have sat on the lot for a while. the removal process is simple in load and out (asside from the getting on base show up 30 min early and expect to...
here is some fun thoughts ive had. first yes you can and there might even be off the shelf solutions (for the brakes themselves) given that ive seen soo many in the crawler crowd set up this way. second the replacement master i just bought from od iron has multiple outputs (still a single...
at first it was no brakes. i replaced the master and then we stared getting brake fluid outta the engine vent tube. pulled the air pack and looked inside cleaned some gunk and when i put it back i had brakes but then it wasn't releasing. i really don't wanna chance it on the journey home esp...
