No, I put the wheels and tires on my M818 for now. Once I bob it and go back to singles, then I might be able to get rid of them. Glad your tractor is up and running!
I guess it depends on what you consider "much difference". About 4" more diameter translates to about 10% increase in speed. My max speed incresed from 63mph to 70mph.

The center hole is the same. I think the main difference is the backspacing. CTIS and thickness differences too. I put FMTV wheels on my M818. Here are a few pics.
